DDA Background
On the 1st October 2004, the DDA (Amendment) Regulations came into force. This has had a major impact on the entire Business world and created major changes to the law. Every UK Business is affected by this new legislation; no matter how big or small the size of the company.
There is a lot of fear and animosity towards the new DDA act, which can mainly be attributed to lack of knowledge and understanding about the implications of the act.
Making a Business comply with the DDA act, for a sizable percentage of companies may cost absolutely nothing apart from a little time and effort. The only area of becoming DDA compliant that will definitely cost companies money (and business) is doing nothing.
To help companies understand the implications of the DDA legislation and provide a vitally needed information point, a Conference is being held to provided an insight into the major areas of the DDA act and become a starting point to save companies the headache of either paying high rates for advice on gaining compliancy.
The conference will begin with addresses from some of the top advisors on the major areas of the new legislation. The conference will then break down into smaller groups to discuss and discover more information on personally important topics.
